Disclaimers

The author of these pages has no connection with either product distributor Plugin Boutique or the creators of the Scaler plugin. The content here is hence completely ‘unofficial,’ and should not be taken as making any representation on behalf of Scaler or its distributor.

Assuming the content is incorrect might be a sensible way to approach it. Caveat emptor, as Nero ** once said.

Full credit is tacitly given to the owners of the various image portions in these postings here, which have been included on a ‘fair use’ basis.  Excepts from manuals are in some cases repeated verbatim, and the implied copyright of same is acknowledged.  However, If you really do feel that any content is unlawful or violates your copyright, mail a clear statement of the allegation to black_hole”at”eastover.org.uk .

The author’s musical credentials are essentially non-existent, but he enjoys wringing some vaguely passably musical noise from a PC occasionally.

Privacy policy : There isn’t one; this is a personal site. Further, as far as I can tell, no-one in the UK has ever read it .

However, if you do visit, rest assured that this will be always recorded by the oppressive UK and US governments, who track every web reference by every member of the population- an insane, grossly inefficient  and self-evidently ineffectual process. So if you object to IP tracking, complain to your government, not me. I’m laid back … sue me .

If you really want to know, the only data collected which might (not clear) have any GDPR implications (European red tape) are those that are held in my  firewall  logs.

** I did warn that the content was probably incorrect …

{As a footnote, the picture at the head of the page is (as might be guessed) not of the author but a portrait by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres of Louis-Francois Bertin, painted oil on canvas in 1832 and held in the Musee du Louvre, Paris.}
